A certain amount of versatility is required...

...when performing pole dancing, as no gig is ever the same as the last. I always keep an open mind as I never know how I will be recieved. How exciting! It's great to perform again and again to such large audiences made up largely of people never exposed to pole dancing of such high quality and also in this form before. It truly is inspirational the way that I am recieved and gives validity to what I am trying to acheive both in my self expression and in the art itself.

Sometimes this is a lonely business in which I am becoming known as a maverick and also an innovator. It has always been this way and my slightly lowered tone reflects the continued non support of what I do by two people close to me; my mother and my oldest sister. My life experiences make me strong and forge ahead and continue to be who I am.

My latest performances have been interesting and as my self development is ongoing they have helped me decide even further the niche into which my dancing fits. I love performing as part of a cabaret (after all this is the style of my act), this truly is my forte (at the moment at least; I must not be rigid with my options). I always try to gain footage of my performances, not only as a record of what I am doing, but also to remind me of what was performed and also gain more feedback on my performances (I concentrate so much that I don't hear the appreciation first time around). A snapshot of some of my favourites of late were this first video which was taken back in September with an audience of around 1200 people both seated and standing around a dance floor above which my pole was situated on stage in a large venue. I regularly perform for this institution which I am extremely pleased about.

This second video was taken in November at a venue that I gasped at upon entering and hope to return to at some point. Attached to a hall was a marquee of mammoth proportions with a roof lit with stars. My seated audience was very close in proximity and all around so projection was needed to all.

Lastly, the video below was taken at a Christmas party. Again, it was a great venue; perfect for my performance. The difference between formal balls and parties are enormous and I can definately say that I prefer the former given a choice.
